The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder will host an early childhood education conference this month in collaboration with other Goldfields organisations in a bid to better support and upskill the educators of young children in the region.

The inaugural Early Childhood Education and Care Conference, Growing Together, is set to take place on October 26.

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is delivering the project in collaboration with the shires of Coolgardie and Leonora, with support from the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission and Central Regional TAFE.

The conference will start a week-long professional development series for early childhood and care educators, running from October 26 to 1 November 1.

In addition to the flagship event, a range of follow-up sessions will take place across the Goldfields, including an autism awareness evening in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on October 29.
