The Coolgardie Visitor Centre is centrally located on Bayley Street and has a lot to offer, including stories and images of Goldfields history.

There is also an onsite museum which was opened in 1977 where you will find Australia's premier bottle collection that began back in 1954. Other significant material on display is clothing and memorabilia from Afghan camel herders, indigenous artefacts, a large three-dimensional diorama of the old Coolgardie townsite in its heyday, rocks and mining equipment such as the local dryblowers and much more.

A must see attraction is the National Trust listed property, Warden Finnerty's Residence, open Saturday to Wednesday 11am – 4pm, closed Thursday and Friday. Stop by, take a step back in time as you view the rooms. Take in the views of the townsite while enjoying a delicious Devonshire for just $6 per head (EFTPOS facilities available).

Coolgardie Visitor Centre also has a range of souvenirs and merchandise.
