Street Art Walking Tours with Local Artist

Join Linda Rae in Wangkatha Country for a wander through the Kalgoorlie- Boulder CBD to discover a treasure trail of murals and public artworks from the perspective of a practicing Goldfields artist.

Some key features include murals painted during the Heartwalk festival in 2017 & 2018 which saw over 60 murals painted by locals and international artists transform our city. The rest is history and Linda Rae will weave you through the stories from behind-the-scenes festival buzz to what happened next, including the artworks that popped up to surprise us in 2021 and 2022 as Little Finds made spaces places and the latest artists projects and exhibitions that can be found around town.

We start at the Paddy Hannan Statue and finish at Kalgoorlie Hotel, (That’s the same building at 319 Hannan Street), meet me on the street corner of Hannan and Wilson St, across the road from Paddy Hannan. We will cover approx. 2km over 2 hrs, so it is a casual wander off the beaten track, around the central Hannan Street area, with a halfway stop for some quick art shopping and toilet break if needed. Please note the route and artworks change regularly. Your ticket comes with a complimentary drink at Kalgoorlie Hotel. Choose from coffee, beer, cider, soft drink or juice, linger a little longer or come a little earlier to enjoy the multiple artworks by 4 local artists.

Phones and cameras are encouraged, this tour is a complete selfie fest! If you can handle all the hashes, it's a super fun way to spend your afternoon. #KBArtwalk
