KCGM Super Pit, Super Pit Look Out & Super Pit Shop:
Based in Kalgoorlie Boulder, The Super Pit produces up to 850,000 ounces of gold every year and its operation far outweighs any other mining centre in Australia. The Super Pit is the biggest open pit gold mine in the country. Hannans North Tourist Mine:
Hannans North, previously the Mining Hall of Fame, has been given a new lease of life and some of the tourist attractions are now re-open! Offering information on all aspects of the KCGM operation; pan for gold, or get up close to a dump truck and shovel and a scale model of the Super Pit. Boulder & Kalgoorlie Market Days:
Kalgoorlie Boulder hosts two market days each month. Boulder Market Day is held on the third Sunday of every month, on Burt Street & Loopline Park, Boulder. The Kalgoorlie Markets are hosted by the Hannans Goldfields Lions Club, and are held in Saint Barbara's Square on Hannan Street, on the first Sunday of every month (excluding January). Both markets commence from 9:00am.
Loopline Museum and Information Centre:

ow open 7 days a week from 9am - 2pm. The historic Loopline railway was once the most important urban transport for Kalgoorlie and Boulder, and Boulder's Golden Mile Station was once the busiest in Western Australia!
WA School of Mines Museum:
Located behind the Curtin University Campus, the WA School of Mines Museum is sure to appeal to anyone with a keen interest in geology and mineralogy. It is home to a collection of approximately 3000 mineral specimens and houses replicas of famous gold nuggets. Open Mon - Fri 9:00am - 12:30pm. The Museum is closed during School Holidays. Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre:
Situated at the Kalgoorlie Airport, the Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre and working base provides an extraordinary insight into the work of one of Australia's truly legendary organisations. Entry is by donation, and the friendly 45 minute guided tours will take you through the chronicles of Royal Flying Doctor Service history. More details...

Paddy Hannan Statue:
Outside the Kalgoorlie Town Hall, the Paddy Hannan statue awaits for you to take his photo and refresh yourself with a drink from his waterbag. The original Paddy Hannan statue was created to mark Western Australia's 1929 Century, and is made from Bronze. It was then replaced by a more durable replica in February 1983 - the original can now be found inside the Town Hall. More details...

Kalgoorlie Town Hall:
The prominant Kalgoorlie Town Hall is an impressive heritage building which was completed in 1908. With it's grand facade and rich interior decoration, it reflects the town's immense wealth during the gold boom. The building consists of a municipal office, council rooms, Mayor's parlour, banqueting room, auditorium and stage facilities. It's also home to Kalgoorlie Boulder Pure Gold Visitor Centre. Kalgoorlie Boulder Racing Club & Museum:
The Kalgoorlie Boulder Racing Club plays host to the famous "Race Round" every year, and is arguably the best country racing club in Western Australia. The western end of the 'Old Tote' building has been restored and renovated to create the Racing Museum - a wonderful, secure area for the display of many unique historical racing items. Goldfields Arts Centre:
The Goldfields Arts Centre is the only multi-functional arts venue in the Goldfields region, and one of only three A Class Art Galleries in regional Western Australia. It opened in November 1993, quckly becoming part of Kalgoorlie's landscape and lifestyle.

Boulder Town Hall & Goatcher Curtain:
The Boulder Town Hall was built in 1908, and is a beautifully preserved heritage building - with pressed tin ceilings and wrought iron balustrades.
View the old council chambers upstairs or check out the acoustics of the main hall. It is also your only chance to catch a glimpse of the famous Goatcher Curtain, believed the last surviving example of its kind of theatre curtain in the world.
Questa Casa Bordello:
Questa Casa is one of the world's longest operating brothels. Built at the turn of the 20th century, Questa Casa is the only original brothel in Kalgoorlie. Unique tours are offered which encompass all the stories of the working brothel, as well as information and history surrounding the famous Hay Street. Questa Casa sure to surprise and enlighten!
Hammond Park:
Hammond Park is the jewel of the City's parks and reserves. It houses a native bird and animal collection, and is home to a variety of fish and birds using the pond area. It is also the home to the City's miniature Bavarian Castle. The shady, green park can be utilised for functions, parties & bbq's. It is a popular venue for family groups & children - the kids will play for hours! More details...
St Barbara's Square & St Barbara's Statue:
St Barbara is the miners' Patron Saint, and this square on Hannan Street was dedicated to her in commemoration of the hard working miners who have brought prosperity to the region. St Barbara's Square was officially opened in November 1985. In the garden area beneath the statue of St Barbara, plaques detail the story of the miners' Patron Saint.
Goldfields War Museum:
The Goldfields War Museum houses a vast collection of war memorabilia from the citizens of the Goldfields. , and is an enriching experience for anyone with an interest in Australia's history and warfare. More details... (Unfortnuately, this attraction is earthquake damaged - however, a small portion of the exhibition has been relocated to the Town Hall where it can be viewed).
Palace Theatre:
This building is a fine example of the art deco style of the 1930's, and is one of only two such buildings still remaining in the Goldfields region. The theatre is converted into a recreation centre; with many facilities available. Roller skating, roller derby, children's parties and cinema hire are just a few of the activities provided for.  
Miner's Monument:
A visit to Boulder provides you with an opportunity to visit the Miner's Monument located on Burt Street. The monument was created to commemorate over 1,300 miners that have been killed since the gold rush of the 1890's. Examine the realistic detail of the statue, which depicts a miner using an air leg drill (commonly used in underground mining operations).
Nullarbor Links Golf Course:
Nullarbor Links is a unique 18-hole par 72 golf course spanning 1,365 km - with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia. Each hole includes a green, tee and a somewhat rugged outback-style natural terrain fairway. A fun & exciting attraction! More details...
Antony Gormley Sculptures, Lake Ballard:
Lake Ballard was selected by international sculptor Antony Gormley for his Inside Australia exhibition entry in the 2003 Perth International Arts Festival. His 51 figures, which are placed around a 10 square kilometre area of the salt lake, continue to draw international attention and acclaim. Lake Ballard is also a significant part of the region's salt lake system. More details...
Ora Banda Historical Inn:
 Located 70kms from Kalgoorlie, and constructed of brick & stone, the Ora Banda Inn was originally built in 1911 when Ora Banda's prosperity seemed assured - thanks to numerous gold strikes within the area. A very popular day trip from Kalgoorlie, and well worth the drive for the gorgeous scenery, ice cold beer and authentic pub grub. More details...
 
Gwalia & Hoover House Historic Precinct:
The Leonora and Gwalia community museum was formed at Gwalia in the early 1970s, located in the mine management precinct within the townsite. A historical gallery, as well as other elements of the mine and town, were over time also incorporated into the museum. Two Up School:
Experience the aura and excitement surrounding the much cherished game of Two Up, by visiting the only legalised Two Up School in Australia. Located 10 minutes out of Kalgoorlie is the original corrugated iron shed and bush ring that was once the Two Up School. Mount Charlotte Look Out:
Walk up to the top of the Mount Charlotte Reservoir for fantastic views of the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder. This site is the terminus of water which is piped 563kms from Mundairing Weir in Perth, to the Goldfields. An amazing engineering feat completed in 1903, that gave Kalgoorlie Boulder it's most precious resource of all - water!
Kanowna Belle Pit Look Out:
Two public lookouts have been established at the Kanowna Belle site. Each lookout has comprehensive interpretive panels and photographs that allow visitors to observe the typical day to day activities of an operating gold mine. The lookouts provide views of the previously mined open pit, developed underground access, and processing plant area.
Binduli Wines:
Binduli Wines is a locally owned and operated winery within 5km of the Kalgoorlie City centre. Their range features a Shiraz processed in American Oak over several vintages, and "Gold in a Bottle" which consists of a local gold nugget suspended in a bottle of Mistelle. Fraser Range Station - Station Accommodation:
Fraser Range is halfway between Norseman and Balladonia, and is covered by dense hardwood eucalyptus forest composed of blackbutts, salmon gums and gimlets. Along the range of hills is Fraser Range Station - the first station to be founded on the Nullarbor Plain. Undertake site seeing tours of the range, the forest and the operational station. Eyre Bird Observatory:
The Eyre Bird Observatory was established as Australia's first bird observatory in 1977 in the Nuytsland Nature Reserve, 50km south-east of Cocklebiddy. It is located in a lovely old stone building within walking distance to the beach, which was constructed in 1897. Visitors are also welcome to participate in studies conducted at the observatory. More details...
